How Do I Volunteer?
We
need you as a volunteer and we thank you in advance of your volunteer
services. Our Main Street cannot be a success unless we involve you
in the decisions and events that take place in the DDA.

The Design Committee works
to improve the physical appearance of the downtown. They help renovate
historic buildings, propose facade design guidelines, work on landscaping
... lots of things that make downtown Oxford look better with each passing
year!
The Promotions Committee works to market downtown
Oxford's assets to citizens, customers, investors and visitors. They
are involved in many of the downtown events (like Celebrate Oxford and
the Scarecrow Festival) that you have enjoyed over the past few years.
The Economic Restructuring Committee works to strengthen
the economic base of downtown Oxford. Their projects include working
to improve the retail mix, helping existing businesses to expand and
helping to attract new businesses to Oxford.
The Organization Committee helps build consensus and
cooperation among the different groups and individuals that have an
interest in the revitalization of downtown Oxford. It coordinates the
other committees, proposes changes to DDA operation and works to recruit
volunteers.
Thanks
for your interest in Downtown Oxford! If you'd like to volunteer, please
